Having Fun Welcoming Your Kids Back

As part of our school-wide focus on helping students feel welcomed, connected, and excited for the year ahead, Ms. Johnston’s class enjoyed a fun parachute activity on the first day of school.

Filled with laughter, teamwork, and plenty of smiles, the activity helped students get to know one another while building a sense of belonging. It was a wonderful example of how our staff are creating welcoming, positive learning environments where every student feels valued and ready to learn. Yes, even grade 5/6 students still like the parachute!
